Job Role

Field Engineer is required for an innovative cloud business working with clients across the UK in the deployment of proprietary communication platform into front-line service providers, leisure and retail settings.

You’ll be working as a key part of the installations team, liaising directly with end clients and ensuring the on-boarding experience runs smoothly and in line with project plans. You’ll be a nimble problem solver, someone capable of arriving at a customers premises and dealing with unexpected challenges in a manner that gives customers the confidence that their installation is in good hands.

The role will require travel for which a company vehicle will be provided along with overnight stays which will be expensed along with reasonable subsistence so you should be comfortable with this aspect of the role. This is a growing business committed to delivering quality services for clients, you’ll share this desire and be motivated to play your part in delivering this service as a visible face of the business.

Requirements & Experience

Experienced in working with cabling, you’ll be installing new Cat5e cabling, switches and routers and WIFI networks as well as reconfiguring existing infrastructure. You’ll need to be skilled in the investigation and diagnosis of faults, working with multiple stakeholders to keep all informed of progress and timelines.
