A dynamic organisation in Ipswich is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Analyst to join their fast-paced and collaborative team.

As an IT Service Desk Analyst, you will be the first point of contact for all IT-related issues, supporting a diverse user base. You’ll be responsible for diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently while maintaining a high standard of customer service. Responsibilities:

  • Provide general 1st line support for end-users.
  • Install and upgrade hardware and software as needed.
  • Manage user accounts, including onboarding new users and closing old accounts.
  • Support and manage networking systems and printers.
  • Handle backup recovery processes and ensure data integrity.
  • Stay updated on new software and provide guidance on its use.
  • Administer and maintain the company’s wireless network.
  • Manage and respond to queries via the IT ticketing system.
  • Set up desks and IT equipment for new and existing employees.
  • Provide support to offsite users and ensure smooth operations.
  • Configure and manage mobile phones for the company.
  • Oversee IT asset management to track and maintain inventory.
  • Day-to-day management of Microsoft 365 accounts and services.

Key Skills:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience working in IT.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 services.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Highly organised with good time management abilities.
  • Proactive, enthusiastic, and eager to learn.
  • Reliable and trustworthy with a strong work ethic.
