Bristow Holland is looking for a Cloud and Infrastructure Manager to join forward-thinking organisation based in Ipswich. This is an exciting opportunity to lead and optimise a robust mix of cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure while contributing to the strategic direction of IT services within the business.

As the Cloud and Infrastructure Manager, you will support the Head of IT by overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems. You will lead a skilled team, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with security standards, all while delivering cost-effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud systems and IT infrastructure.
  • Ensure infrastructure is highly available, secure, and efficient.
  • Develop and implement strategies to align IT infrastructure with business objectives.
  • Plan for scalability and robustness to support future growth.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and implement data protection measures.
  • Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud and infrastructure systems.
  • Identify and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage and develop a team of IT professionals, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Work with application development, cybersecurity, and other IT teams to support new technologies and initiatives.
  • Manage relationships with service providers, negotiate contracts, and ensure SLAs are met.
  • Plan and manage the IT infrastructure budget to align with business needs.

Candidate Requirements:

  • 5+ years in a senior infrastructure role.
  • Extensive experience in cloud infrastructure management.
  • Expertise in VMware virtualisation, Cisco networks, and Microsoft cloud services.
  • Proven leadership and team management abilities.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to manage time and prioritize workloads effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Azure.
  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture, data security, and management.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills for resolving infrastructure issues.
  • Skilled in coordinating and managing infrastructure-related projects.
