Job Role

This role is with their R&D function who work on developing solutions and web based applications to help drive efficiencies and improved processes throughout the overall business using technology to solve business problems.

The first project you will be involved in will be the design and development of a custom built CMS system for which the production team can utilise moving forwards for their client projects.

Requirements & Experience

They are looking for someone who loves a challenge and is a fantastic problem solver when it comes to technical projects. In terms of your experience you will need solid PHP skills, ideally with some form of MVC framework knowledge, previous experience of working with and building API’s as well as solid database skills with MySQL or MongoDB. Although this role will have a bias towards the backend they would ideally like an individual who is capable on the front end with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

The overall technical environment uses PHP, Laravel, MySQL / MongoDB, a variety of CMS systems and Vue.JS as their front end framework. They also adopt Agile / Scrum development techniques, utilise GIT for source control and have regular development team meetings to review processes, share ideas and discuss innovation.
