Senior Project Manager | Insurance | London / Chelmsford | £70,000 – £80,000
About the Position
A global insurance based business are looking for a Senior Project Manager to join their Change Management team to help deliver a range of projects within the business, whilst being heavily involved in the future planning and 3-5 year roadmap which will help move the business forward.
Requirements & Experience
You will be part of the Central Services team, which consists of Project Managers, Business Analysts and various another project delivery team members. Whilst you’ll be a Senior Project Manager, you’ll also be expected to provide some leadership and mentor some of the more junior members in the delivery team.
The beauty of working within the Central Services team is that the projects will vary in nature from size, value and complexity, and will span across the different departments and functions of the business, and so the stakeholders and project deliverables will differ from project to project.
As the Senior PM, you’ll be working directly with the key stakeholders across all departments of the business to clarify project aims and objectives, create plans and manage the successful delivery of projects. You’ll also be expected to have an influence in the future of the business with bringing some of your own ideas to the table being part of the strategic growth.
You’ll be building relationships with internal and external team members, business partners and suppliers, engaging with all involved parties to keep the project on track and full of forward momentum – crucially some stakeholders are based remotely and globally, so it would be useful to be able to demonstrate experience of working in this sort of environment.
On offer is a competitive salary, and the option to provide some autonomy to the role as you can shape and dictate how it looks, based on your experience and knowledge in this space. This also includes the option to be based between either the London or Chelmsford office.
