Job Role

In this role you will design, monitor, and maintain SQL Server database infrastructure for their internal systems.

You should have a knowledge of SQL Server (2008/2012/2014/2016) in place as well as database administration principles.Through this role you will gain invaluable hands on experience in the all areas of database administration including Disaster Recovery, Log Shipping, Mirroring, Clustering, Always On Availability Groups and VM Replication, as well as other areas of SQL Development and Reporting such as SSIS and SSRS.

Requirements & Experience

Knowledge of maintaining and monitoring production SQL Server instances (2008/2012/2014/2016)
Knowledge of T-SQL for database maintenance and data manipulation/queries.
Knowledge of database performance troubleshooting and optimisation strategies.
Knowledge of Disaster Recovery options and experience with their implementations (log shipping, mirroring, clustering, Always On Availability Groups, VM replication).
