Job Role

I am proud to be working with one of our longest standing clients who are looking to add a Systems Administrator into their business.

The role will be based just outside of Ipswich and it’s working for a family run business which operates within the logistics and supply chain industry. They have seen gradual growth over the past few years and this role will see someone with a technical mind and motivation to learn, who can pick things up quickly and work hard as they are offered a great opportunity with clear progression.

Requirements & Experience

The business uses specific SAP computer systems which are integral to the day to day running of the business. You’ll be coming in to provide basic support to these systems as well as ensuring the information and data is correct and accurate, making sure it is maintained and also provide training and support for any 3rd party suppliers and other staff who maybe come to use it to make sure it’s being utilized effectively. There will also be some work to continually develop and issue SAP warehousing manuals / user guides in line with any process change or development.

You will be working closely with the Senior Systems and Operations Controller, and the long-term vision is that this role will eventually develop and progress into a Systems and Operations Controller. Therefore, we’re not looking for the finished article just yet, but someone who is determined, enjoys technology and who is looking to build a long-term career within a successful, ambitious, and professional environment.

This role would suit a degree graduate with some basic understanding of technology & business systems, ideally SAP. You could also come from a support type background with a year or so experience in a similar role.
