Intelligent Automation Lead
We’re hiring for a newly created Technical Lead role within a growing automation function that’s transitioning from traditional RPA toward more advanced AI-driven intelligent automation. This is an opportunity to help shape the next phase of automation capability, working with technologies such as LLMs, Python-based automation, NLP/OCR, IDP and modern AI tooling.
In this role, you’ll report into the Head of Automation, providing the technical oversight, hands-on expertise, and challenge required to ensure high-quality solution design and delivery. You’ll lead and support offshore development resource, remain hands-on where appropriate, and help build standards and capability as the organisation moves toward an AI Centre of Excellence.
We’re looking for someone with experience in automation and emerging AI tools who can code in Python and has exposure to building or applying LLM-based solutions. Insurance experience is preferred, and while you don’t need extensive line-management experience, you should be confident leading and guiding technical delivery teams.
