Senior Project Manager

This is a Senior Project Manager role within an established business undergoing significant business and technology transformation. Working across a varied portfolio of strategic projects, you’ll be responsible for leading the successful delivery of initiatives that span technology, operational change, regulatory requirements and wider business improvement, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful outcomes.

The role will see you taking ownership of the full project lifecycle, from defining scope and planning delivery through to managing budgets, resources, risks and governance.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards, whilst maintaining strong engagement with both technical and business stakeholders throughout. Alongside project delivery, you’ll also play an important role in promoting project management best practice, supporting governance, driving continuous improvement and helping to develop the wider Project Management capability.

We’re looking for somebody with proven experience delivering complex projects within a medium to large organisation. Whilst a background in technology or IT projects would be beneficial, you’ll also have experience delivering wider business change, operational or regulatory initiatives and be comfortable working across a diverse project portfolio.

You’ll be confident managing senior stakeholders, leading cross-functional teams and balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience managing budgets, business cases, third-party suppliers and formal governance processes is essential, alongside excellent communication skills and the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of the business.
