This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically minded Application Support Analyst to join a leading software provider based in Ipswich where you’ll be supporting well known clients across the UK and beyond.

You’ll play a key role in delivering high quality support and troubleshooting issues whilst guiding users through system features ensuring they get the most from their technology investment.

On a typical day, you’ll be responsible for supporting and maintaining business-critical software applications, responding to helpdesk queries via phone and email, and managing customer requirements. You’ll analyse and troubleshoot technical problems, help users understand how to get the best from the system, and escalate issues where needed. A working knowledge of SQL is essential for querying databases, verifying data issues, and supporting reporting requests. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused mindset, ensuring smooth system operations and delivering excellent service to clients.

We’re looking for someone comfortable investigating technical issues, understanding customer processes, and replicating faults for further development. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server, Windows Server, FTP, and remote access tools is highly desirable, though training is available for the right candidate. The ability to prioritise, think analytically, and learn quickly is key.
