Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate Effectively: Partner with business units to understand data needs and deliver solutions.
- Lead Projects: Manage data engineering projects from start to finish.
- Build Relationships: Develop strong connections across the organization to support data goals.
- Design Data Structures: Create intuitive data architectures to meet analytical requirements.
- Innovate: Explore new technologies and data sources with creativity.
- Automate Data Processes: Enhance data ingestion and integration processes.
- Document Solutions: Provide thorough documentation for data and technical solutions.
Desired Skills/Experience:
- Data Engineering: Experience building data structures for analytics in the insurance sector.
- Cloud Platforms: Knowledge of Snowflake and Databricks.
- Independent Leadership: Capable of managing tasks and leading teams effectively.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Data Manipulation: Proficient in data manipulation for analytics.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Professional Experience: 4+ years in data engineering and 2+ years in project management.
- Education: Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Data Analytics.
