SQL/Power BI Developer

An excellent opportunity for a SQL / Power BI Developer to join a thriving business who are based on the outskirts of Colchester.

You have the opportunity to join a growing technical team that is seeking to expand their data offering to their clients. As the SQL / Power BI Developer,  you will play a crucial role in supporting the organization by acquiring, cleansing, and importing data from a variety of different providers which will then be utilised within a number of internal applications. You’ll also be expected to help streamline and automate some of these processes so will need strong T-SQL skills and ideally experience with SSRS and SSIS.  

Additionally, you will be managing the data export process to a number of key partners so will need to maintain the data integrity and ensure the quality of data exported is of the highest standard.  

Future projects will be building a new suite of products on the Power BI platform which will include dashboards and reports for both internal and external stakeholders. You will take ownership of this area for the team so you’ll ideally possess both the data backend experience and front end visualization skills.  

To be considered you will need to demonstrate a strong technical background within the data space and possess the analytical skills to build reports that enable business decisions. You don’t need to be an expert in everything but having the ambition to grow and develop your skills is a must.

This position offers a hybrid working environment with 2 days in the office per week as well as an excellent benefits package.
