Head of Development
Leading Healthtech business are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Software Development to join the team as they embark on an exciting growth phase for the business.
Reporting directly to the MD the role will be responsible for building a high-performance culture and aligning the Development department with the other business functions to achieve their ambitious roadmap and technology strategy.
Leading a team of 15 that covers Application Development, DevOps and QA, you will create a team, strategies and processes that delivers a high-quality software product across their various workstreams.
This will involve facilitating technical discussions, defining architecture, code standards and working processes whilst ensuring the productivity of the team are aligned with Product on common goals.
You will also be expected to work on a longer-term vision and planning that involves continually assessing the development roadmap, the investigation of new technology and addition on services and features to the current portfolio of applications.
To be considered you will have a proven background in software development with a passion for technology as well as being a commercial and strategic thinker with the ability to motivate and drive a team forwards.
This is going to be a period of rapid change for the business, but with the opportunity in front of them they are keen to hire a strong operator at this level to help build and deliver their vision.
